NHS Living Life: a telephone service based on a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach available to anyone over 16 suffering low mood, mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety.  NHS Living Life can be accessed either through GP referral or by phoning the number directly.

Papyrus: UK charity working to prevent suicide in young people (35 years and under). They give support and practical advice to young people worried about themselves and to anyone else concerned that a young person they know may be at risk of harming themselves. The helpline is staffed by professionals experienced in working with suicidal young people, families or carers.

Groups and Services in Fife

Express Group Fife: Provides 10 drop-in centres throughout Fife for those who have or have had mental health issues. These groups are run to help people cope with and recover from their mental health issues and to meet people and socialise. You can enjoy a range of activities and outings and even a cooked meal at the end of the morning! The aim of the groups is to give opportunities for self-help social activities, outings and holidays; and to provide a place where members can share experiences, and offer mutual support.
