Parenting groups in Fife

There are a number of parenting groups that are run in Fife. Have a look at the programmes below to find out which would benefit you and your family.

 

Incredible Years groups are for parents or carers of 3-4 year olds to learn new ways to manage difficult child behaviours. Group runs weekly for 14-16 weeks in nurseries across Fife. To find a group near you click here.

Triple P groups are for parents or carers of 3-4 years old who are finding their child’s behaviour difficult to manage. Groups run for 8 weeks in locations across Fife. To find a group near you click here.

Mellow Bumps and Mellow Babies are groups designed to support parents who may need a bit of extra help due to difficulties they are currently experiencing. The groups aim to help parents develop strong relationships in pregnancy and then with their new baby.

PEEP (Parents Early Education Partnership) is designed to give children the best start in life. PEEP recognises that parents are children’s best early educators and the group is interactive with parents and children using songs, games, play and stories. Available in the Glenrothes area, may be available elsewhere in future.

This Programme promotes the development of families using a step by step framework. Groups take place in different venues across Fife. Contact Joleen McCool if you would like to find out more on 01592 226510.

These groups are for children and young people aged 5-18 years who have experienced significant loss, change, family breakdown or bereavement. The 8 week groups take place in schools across Fife.  Contact an area coordinator to find out more.
