Ways to Cope with Depression
There are lots of things that we can do to boost our mood. We can do these things as well as taking antidepressant medications, or we can try these first before making the choice to start taking antidepressant medications.
Talking to others
When we feel low we can tend to avoid people as it can all seem a bit much. This can make our mood worse as we miss out. When we feel low, it is important to try and get out there and chat to family and friends.

Looking after your wellbeing
When we are low watching what we eat, making sure we get enough sleep and exercise can be the last thing on our mind. However research has shown that exercise, sleeping well and eating right can all improve our mood. See the wellbeing sections on moodcafé for some tips regarding this.
