Fife Carers Centre: Fife Carers Centre Befriending project aims to reduce isolation of carers across Fife. Trained volunteers will be matched with identified carers  to develop confidence and help them become more involved in their community, by identifying community resources  for carers to access and supporting them to do so.

Fife Society for the Blind: Fife Society offers a one-to-one befriending service for adults of any age who are living with visual impairment or blindness and feel that they are lonely or socially isolated.

Fife Voluntary Action: Fife Voluntary Action will deliver a short, time-limited (approx. 16 weeks) goal-specific befriending project for adults living in Fife who are challenged socially due to disability, mental health, bereavement, retirement or geography and who seek to increase their levels of independence, by improving their volume of social contact, competency and ability to access activities or services. FVA will recruit and train volunteers to carry out the befriending roles. FVA will also support the other organisations in the partnership with the recruitment, training and of volunteers, as well as assistance with the associated policies and procedures.

Link Living: RealLiving provides a volunteer befriending service in West Fife in order to reduce isolation of older people improve their social networks and enhance support for one another, focusing on those who are affected by physical or mental frailty and will provide person-centred befriending support both in people’s homes and in their communities with the provision of two weekly social cafés to be held in community venues in West Fife.
